49. Obstruction of Warden etc. No person shall interfere with or obstruct the Warden or any person authorised by him or the Board in the performance of the duties prescribed by these By-laws. PART V. MARKET. 50. Opening and closing of market. The market established in the Town shall be open to the Public from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. except on Sundays, Bank Holidays and days proclaimed Public Holidays when it shall be open from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. or at such other times as may be permitted by the Board. 51. Sale of fish and meat. No person shall expose for sale in any street or in any public place in the town or within one mile from the limits thereof other than in the market, or other place approved by the Board any meat, fish whalemeat or turtle : Provided that nothing herein contained shall extend to prevent any person from disposing of any tinned meat or salted fish in any shop or in the course of any auction of general effects. 52. Slaughtering animals. (1) No person shall slaughter or cause to be slaughtered any animal for the purpose of selling the carcass thereof within the town or within one mile from the limits thereof elsewhere than in the market and by a butcher duly licensed by the Board. (2) Every person who desires to have an animal slaughtered in the market shall, before such animal is slaughtered, pay to the Warden the slaughterhouse dues in respect thereof as are specified in the First Schedule hereto. (3) Every animal to be slaughtered shall first be inspected by the Sanitary Inspector or in his absence by the Warden and passed as fit for human consumption. (4) No animal shall be slaughtered in the market before the hour of 5.00 a.m. 53. .Butchers, .'. .;T u .. i a d fish vendors. (1) No person shall butcher or slaughter animals or sell fish in the market unless he produces a medical certificate of fitness and pays to tae Warden the licence fee prescribed in the second schedule to these :2'-1..:. - (2) Medical certificates and licences shall expire on the 30th June and 31st December in each year. 54. .T:-': 1 dues. (1) No person shall sell, offer for sale or expose for the purpose of sale, any produce in the Town or within one mile from the limits thereof, elsewhere than in the market, or until after such produce has been brought to the marl et and the market dues referred to in the Fourth Schedule hereto have been paid in respect thereof: Provided however, that this By-law shall not apply to a person selling or disposing of any such produce at his residence, shop or store. (2) Every person disposing of produce in the Town or within one mile of the limits thereof, except at his own residence, shop or store, shall produce his market ticket in respect thereof to any agent of the Board immediately on being requested to do so. (3) It shall be the duty of every vendor to make the required payment to the Warden before any article is sold. ,
