106 38. No rebate or reduction to be given. Whenever it may be necessary to lock off the Water Supply in any part of the Town or private premises therein pursuant to By-laws 35 and 36 no rebate or reduction in any water rate will be made on account thereof. 39. Wastage of water. No person shall cause or all w the waste of water at any stand pipe or private water service by leaving open any tap so that the water runs to waste or by allowing water to flow from any tap into a receptacle already filled with water or not caleble of containing water. 40. Leaks or breaks in pipes. Every occupier of premises with a private water service shall immediately report to the Warden or an officer of the Board afy leak or break that may occur in the pipes, taps or other appliances. 41. Washing at public stand pipe. No person shall wash any part of his body, or any child, animal or thing at any public standpipe or water tap. 42. Mouth not to be put to any tap. No person shall put his mouth to any tap attached to a public standpipe or rest anything against or upon any public stan~lpipe. 43. Protection of reservoirs. No person shall throw or deposit or cause to be thrown or deposited any rubbish or refuse, or noxious or deleterious matter of substance whatsoever into any reservoir catchpit or pipe or in any such place whereby the same may be washed into any reservoir, catchpit or pipe or commit any other act likely to pollute the water supply. 44. Capacity of baths. No bath shall be connected to the Water Supply which haa a capacity greater than thirty cubic feet. 45. Fountains. No fountain of the Town connected with the Water Supply shall be operated except on condition that the Board may cause it to be locked off whenever it appears necessary for the Board so to do. 46. List of persons having water services. In the month of December in every year, the Warden shall prepare and submit to the Board a list of all persons whose premises are supplied with water from the Water Supply. 47. Sale of water to owners of vessels. Masters and Owners of vessels may on application to the Warden and on payment of two cents for every five gallons obtain water from the Water Supply of the Town. 48. Entry on premises. The Warden or any other person authorised by him shall have power to enter any premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of ascertaining whether any water is seeing wasted on the promises.
