The following is from Tschopik (1948:113):

‘aka ipi chuyma.ni jagi.naka.xa
this people

‘these ignorant people’

Tschopik's translation is 'these demented people', but since
ipi glosses as ‘stupid’ (sonso) in Sitajara today, the above
gloss seems preferable.

nonhuman or nonliving noun used to refer to a human or ani-

A metaphorical use of the noun/verb root t'ullku
is ‘in a hurry'. The verb t'ullku.fia means 'to twist' (La

Paz/Tiahuanaco).
