rogative, in reduplicative phrases meaning ‘neither
nor', as in the following:

This ni is homophonous and apparently identical in func-
tion with Spanish ni ‘neither, nor'; it may be a Spanish
borrowing or merely a point at which the two languages
converge, or both.
