AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CARRIAGE AND STORAGE OF Motion Picture FILMs. [4th March, 1950.] 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Motion Picture Films (Carriage and Storage) Ordinance. 2. In this Ordinance, film or motion picture film ”’ means picture or sound recording film having a nitro cellulose base whether in the form of unexposed film, positives, negatives, scrap or used film. 3. (1) The Governor in Council may make regulations (a) to make provision for the protection of persons and property from danger arising from fire or explosion caused by or incident to the presence of films in any place; (6) prescribing the conditions under and the places in which films may be stored, (c¢) preseribing the conditions under and the vehicles and receptacles in which films may be transported from one place to another ; (7) determining the restrictions to be imposed upon persons when in close proximity to films stored in any place; (ce) prescribing offences against any of the said regulations and penalties therefor: Provided that no such penalty shall exceed a fine of five thousand dollars or imprisonment for twelve months with or
