Explosives. [Ch. 30. No. 4. CHAPTER 30. No. 4. ENPLOSIVES. AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO GUNPOWDER AND OTHER EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES. [8th April, 1907.] 1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Explosives Ordinance. 2. In this Ordinance- certificate means a certificate granted under this Ordinance constable — includes any member of the Police Force and of the Rural Police; dealer in safety cartridges means a_ licensed dealer in safety cartridges; explosive ’’ means gunpowder, nitro-glycerine, dynamite, gun-cotton, blasting powders, fulminate of mercury or of other metals, coloured fires, and every other substance, whether similar to those above mentioned or not, used or manufactured with a view to produce a practical effect by explosion or a pyro- technic effect, and includes fog signals, fireworks, fuses, rockets, percussion caps, detonators, cartridges, ammunition of all descriptions, and every adaptation or preparation of an explosive as above defined ; ‘““ Gazetted Police Officer has the same meaning as defined in the Police Ordinance, “magazine means a magazine duly appointed under this Ordinance; 189 Ordinances Ch.30, No.4— 1940.
