An Ordinance to amend further the Antigua
Constitution and Elections Ordinance, 1951.

[9th May, 1956.]
ENACTED by the Legislature of Antigua

as follows:—

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the
Antigua Constitution and Elections (Amendment)
Ordinance, 1956, and shall be read as one with the
Antigua Constitution and Klections Ordinance,
1951, as amended hereinafter called the Principal
Ordinance.

2. Section 12 of the Principal Ordinance is
hereby amended as follows:—

(i) by substituting in subsection (1) the
words ‘every official member appointed by
name or nominated member of the Council”
for the words “every nominated member of
the Council’;
