An Act to amend further the Magistrate’s Code
of Procedure Act, (Cap. 61).

ENACTED by the Legislature of the

Leeward Islands.

1. This Act may be cited as the Magistrate’s
Code of Procedure (Amendment) Act, 1956, and
shall be read as one with the Magistrate’s Code of
Procedure Act, as amended, hereinafter called
the Principal Act.

2. Subsection (3) of section 172 of the
Principal Act is hereby amended by the substitu-
tion of a comma for the full-stop at the end of
subsection (3) and the addition thereatter of the
following words “and in a matter relating to
salvaye or the title to wreck where the sum in
dispute exceeds ninety-six dollars”.
