An Ordinance to declare legislation for the transfer

VIRGIN
ISLANDS. ~

of the Island of Sombrero froin the Presidency -

of the Virgin Islands to be within the com-
petency of the General Legislature.

ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin

Islands.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as_ the
Transfer of Sombrero (General Legislature Com-
petency) Ordinance, 1955.

2. It is hereby declared to be and it shall be
within the competency of the General Legislature
to make laws to provide that the Island of Som-
brero shall cease to form part of the Presidency.
