An Ordinance to amend further the Excise
Ordinance, 1903.

ENACTED by the Legislature of Antigua

a> follows: —

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the
Excise (Amendment) Ordinance, 1955, and shall
be read as one with the Excise Ordinance, 1903,
as amended, hereinafter called the Principal
Ordinance. ‘

2. The Principal Ordinance is hereby
amended by the insertion therein immediately after
section 16 of the following as sections 16A, 16B,
16C, 16D, 166 and 16F respectively :—

“16A. In every distillery the capacity of
every package shall be calculated by reference
to the weight and hydrometer indication of
the spirits contained therein by means of the
tables prepared for use with Sykes’ hy drometer
for the purpose.
