STAMPS.

 

THe Stamps (Montserrat) Orper, 1955, patep May 18, 1955, MADE
BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTIONS 4 AND 5 OF THE
Stamp Act (Cap. 135), aS AMENDED.

1. Snorr ‘Trrte. This Order may be cited as the Stamps
(Montserrat) Order, 1955.

2. Derinirion. In this Order the term ‘“ stamps” means

adhesive stamps for postage and revenue.

3. Sramps. There shall be used in the Presidency of Montserrat
concurrently with the uniform stamps for use throughout the Colony,
stamps of the values specified in the first column and of the designs
respectively specified in the case of each such value in the Schedule to
this Order.

4, Diss. The several dies and other implements required to give
effect. to this Order shall be provided.

; 5. Revocarion. The Stamps (Montserrat) Order, 1951 (S. R. &
O. 1951 No. 22) in so far as it now has effect, is hereby revoked.

6. ComMENcEMENT. This Order shall come into force on the
Ist day of June, 1955.
