An Ordinance to repeal and replace the Defence
Force Ordinance and to make more suitable
provisions for the control, training and
discipline of the Antigua Defence Force and
for other matters connected therewith.

ENACTED by the Legislature of Antigua.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the
Defence Force Ordinance, 1955.

2. In this Ordinance—

“appointments ” includes accoutrements and
equipment of every kind other than
clothing ;

“Army Act’? means the Army Act for the
time being in force in England and
includes the articles of war for the time
being in force made under the authority
of that Act;

‘(Commandant ” means Commandant of the
Force ;
