An Ordinance to regulate the export of clean lint
cotton from the Presidency.

ENACTED by the Legislature of Antigua as

follows:—

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Cotton
Export Ordinance, 1954.

Short title.

2. In this Ordinance— Interpretation.
“the Association” means the Antigua Cotton

Growers Association incorporated under

the Cotton Growers Association Ordi-

nance, 1986; 16/1936.

“clean lint cotton’? means unstained cotton
from which the seeds have been extracted
by ginning.

3. (1) It shall not be lawful for any person
to export clean lint cotton for sale from the
Presidency without first obtaining the consent of
