(2) The returning officer shall give notice -. in writing to every candidate in his electoral district of any transfer made under subsection (1) of this section and to the presiding officer of the polling station at which the person whose | name is so transferred would have been entitled to vote but for the provision of section 66. ~ 66. (1) Every person whose name is Where tians- transferred in accordance with the provisions of eae section 65 from any official list of voters to another official list of voters shall vote, if he vote at all, in the polling division of which he is appointed presiding officer or poll clerk, as the case may be. (2) Every presiding officer who issues to any person whose name has been transferred from any official list of voters to any other official list of voters any ballot paper at any polling division other than the polling division of the electoral district to which such person’s name has been transferred shall be liable, on summary ‘ _ conviction, to a fine of twenty-five dollars or to imprisonment for one month. | 67. (1) At the hour fixed for opening Proceedigs _ the poll the presiding officer and the poll clerk * Pol. shall, in the presence of the candidates, their agents, and such of the voters as are present, open the ballot box and ascertain that there \ are no ballot papers or other papers therein, after which the box shall be locked, and the. presiding officer shall keep the key thereof; the box shall be placed on a table in full view of all present and shall be maintained there until the close of the poll. (2) Immediately after the ballot box is so locked, the presiding officer shall call on 1 the voters to vote. :
