Tue Nevis Jurors (Antowances) Runes, 1954, parep May 31, 1954, MADE BY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL UNDER SECTION 47 oF THE JURY Act, (Cap. 56). 1. Citation. These Rules may be cited us the Nevis Jurors (Allowances) Rules, 1954. 2. Jurors’ Allowances. (1) Every juror residing outside the Town of Charlestown and attending the Circuit Court in the Nevis Cireuit for the trial of criminal causes in pursuance of a summons under the Jury Act shall be entitled to receive as compensation for loss of time an allowance of one dollar and fifty cents a day or part of a day for each day he is required to attend and does attend a session. (2) Every such juror shall be paid a travelling allowance of twenty-four cents for every mile or part of a mile travelled to and from the Court exclusive of the first mile to and from the Court House. 3. Revocation. The Nevis Jurors (Travelling Allowance) Rules, 1949 (S. R. & O. 1949, No. 16) are hereby revoked. Made by the Governor in Council this 31st day of May, 1954. A. E.
