An Ordinance to declare legislation with respect to
the civil liabilities and rights of the Crown,
civil proceedings by and against tbe Crown
and the civil liabilities of persons other than
the Crown in cases involving the affairs or
property of the Crown, to be within the com-
petency of the General Legislature.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Governor and
Legislative Council of the Virgin Istunds as
follows:—

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Short title,
Crown Proceedings (General Legislature Compe-
tency) Ordinance, 1964.

2. Itis hereby declared to be and it shall Gener Legis-
