In exercise of the powers con- ferred upon it by section 231 of the Penal Code, the Governor in Council hereby makes the following Regulations:- 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Street Traffic (Amendment) Regulations 1953. 2. The Schedule to the Street Traffic Regulations 1950 is hereby amended by deleting item "m. Market Street West Side" and substituting therefore the following: "m. MARKET STREET (a) Throughout its length West Side (b) Between Trinity Place and Bay Street - East Side"; and by adding thereto the fol- lowing: "ff. CHARLOTTE STREET SLIP. West Side." 3. The Street Traffic Regula- tions 1950 are hereby amended by deleting therefrom the full stop appearing after the words "Crown Lands Office" in Regula- tion 8 (d) (2), and by adding thereto the following: "and on the East side of Charlotte Street Slip." Consequent upon the tem- porary absence from New Provi- dence of His Excellency the Governor, on a visit to Cat Cay and Bimini, the Honourable A. G. H.
