(ii) by inserting the following new section
as section 41 thereof —

“ Recovery of 41. Any fee, expenses, or other
fees. expenses, . >
ete. moneys recoverable under this Ordi-

nanee, recovery of which is not other-
wise specially provided for, shall be a
civil debt recoverable summarily with-
out limit of amount.”;

(iu) by renumbering sections 41 and 42 as
sections 42 and 43 respectively.

OBJECTS AND REASONS.

_ The object of this Bill is to amend the Government Elec-
tricity, Ice and Cold Storage Ordinance. which deals (inter alia)
with the generation and supply of electricity, to provide a
statutory remedy by civil action for the recovery of monevs
due under the Ordinance in addition to the power given by
section 2] thereof to cut off the electricity supply, and to
empower the Administrator in Council to prescribe fees for the
inspection of installations,
