CANNON TUBES-Lands raised, chipped, corroded. The tube on the 175-mm is chrome-plated, so if you find any flaking, don't worry about it. Any time you have a doubt about the serviceability of the tube, ask your support guys for a bore- scope and pullover gage reading. The charts in TB ORD 1054 (6 Dec 63) will come in handy for figuring EFC's after every firing. LEVELING PLATES-Chipped, painted, dirty.
