 1969 CLIMATOLOGICAL REPORT

 This report summarizes the weather data from the Strawberry and
Vegetable Field Laboratory for 1969 and for the 41 year period from 1929
through 1969.

 The present weather station is located seven miles west of Plant City.
Until November of 1963 the weather station was located at Springhead, about
three miles southeast of Plant City, All moisture observations were made
at 8 a. m. each day and represent the previous 24 hour period. The tempera-
ture data are the recorded high and low for that day from twelve midnight
to the following twelve midnight.

 Pages 2 through 13 have the daily maximum, minimum, and mean
temperature and rainfall for 1969. Also included on these pages are the
daily records for the 41 year means, the highest and lowest recorded
temperature, and the year these extremes occurred. The monthly means and
extremes for the last 15 and the last 41 years are on page 14. The monthly
rainfall means and extremes are recorded on page 15.
