0~ photo: Mayhe Kollein About the Author: Donald Aul was a teaching assistant in mathematics at Kent State University where he earned his B.A. and M.A. in English while working as an engineering draftsman and equipment designer. After receiving his Ph.D. from the Uni- versity of Chicago in 1968 he served on the faculty of the University of Califor- nia, Berkeley, where he acted as Associate Editor of The Blake Newslet- ter. Since it appeared in 1974, his Vision- ary Physics: Blake's Response to Newton has been the major study of Blake's attack on the scientific world-view. Prof. Ault is co-editor of Crwtcal Paths: Blake and the Argument of Method (Duke University Press) and has been schol- arly advisor and contributor to the five-year, thirty volume publishing pro- ject, The Carl Barks Library of Walt Dis- ney's Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge.
