INCOME

 The income for Educational and General purposes for the year 1935-36 amounted to )1,806,351.38,
and was derived from the following sources as itemized in Schedule B-1. This amount is the princi-
pal income of the University, Experiment Stations, Extension Divisions and Radio Station. A compar-
ison of the same sources for 1934-35 is also included.

 Educational and General Expenditures for the year 1935-36 amounted to 11,702,848.67, as item-
ized in Schedule B-2. These expenditures are for the following general purposes and are compared

ENDOmMET FUNDS

 Permanent Endowments created by land-grants of the Federal Government and by private gifts
amounted to $285,346.38 on June 30, 1936. These endowments were derived from the following sources:

 Private Gifts for Departmental Use 40,000.00
 Private Gifts for Scholarships 23,550.00

PLANT FUNDS

 The value of all property held by the University on June 30, 1936 amounted to $6,673,355.73,
distributed as follows:

 Buildings and improvements 4,216,112.39
 Equipment 2,137,886.94
