One garment is made from pattern drafted by student; other garments are constructed by adaptation of commercial patterns. Discussion and comparison of practical approaches in construction techniques. The fundamentals of camera equipment, developing and printing, practical lighting (exterior and interior), and practical optics. Elementary composition and picture mak- ing. Problems will alternate between studio painting from the model and assigned landscape subjects. ART 352.-Landscape and Figure Painting II. 6 hours of lecture-labora- tory. 3 credits. The student will explore the various media available to the painter for the purpose of acquiring greater technical ability.
