The biological problems and principles associated with the organism's role as: a living individual, a member of a race, a product of evolutionary processes, and a mem- ber of a socially and economically interrelated complex of living organisms. Under these headings such topics as the structure and functioning of the human body, the structure and functioning of the higher plants, methods of reproduction, heredity and variation, the theory of evolution, and ecology are discussed.
