Integrated coverage through team teaching of funda- mentals. Includes statistics, design, data processing, and familiarization with the general field of educational research. EDF 665-ASSESSMENT OF CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR. 4 credits Instruction in at least four systems for measuring teacher-pupil behavior, repre- senting the social-emotional and cognitive domains. Observation will be practiced in classrooms as well as from audio- and video-tape and film. EDF 666-SEMINAR ON RESEARCH ON EFFECTIVE TEACHING. 4 credits Systematic observation as a frame of reference for recording, analyzing, and conceptualizing teaching; research results; implications for teaching and learning.
