Every student is required to take a set of three courses designed to provide a complete background of concep- tual, quantitative and analytical problem-solv- ing skills. In addition, each student selects one or two marketing elective courses which can be used to support the chosen career path. The complete package of marketing courses pro- vides the student not only with fundamental marketing knowledge but also substantial depth in at least one subfield within the general domain of marketing decision-making. Students desiring to take 3-4000 level marketing courses must obtain a grade of "C" or better in MAR 3023. This is not petitionable. Marketing majors are advised that any fur- ther courses offered by the marketing depart- ment may not be used to fulfill free-elective requirements. That is, any additional free elec- tives must be take outside of the student's major field. Please go to the Undergraduate Programs office for a list of approved marketing electives.
