Students receive instruction about arthropods, nema- todes, plant diseases and weeds with reference to the pest problems in and around residential and commercial property. Emphasis is also given to a business curriculum so that students are prepared for management responsibilities in the pest management industry. Students plan- ning to attend graduate school should consult an adviser for the selection of appropriate math, chemistry and physics courses.
