Total 21 RESTRICTED ELECTIVES There are two categories of electives: Psy- chosocial and Emphasis/Special Interest. Nine credits are required for the Psychosocial electives category. The number of credits required for the Emphasis/Special Interest category ranges from 11 to 18, depending on option selected. In the Psychosocial category, each option requires that majors take EDF 3110, Human Growth and Development, and SGY 2000, Princi- ples of Sociology. The remaining 3 credits are specified by the selected option. In the Emphasis/Special Interest category, courses must be selected from a list of courses prescribed for each option, and where appropri- ate, each Emphasis/Special Interest area. Courses taken that do not match the selected option will not be accepted to fulfill degree requirements.
