for graduates of approved teacher education
programs. The need for excellent teachers in
Florida is critical. As an example of incentives
being offered to attract qualified students, the
state of Florida offers teacher scholarship/loans
to students enrolled full-time in approved


teacher education programs leading to certifica-
tion in critical shortage subject areas.
