II. Utilization of Human Resources The employment status of individuals 14 years of age and older is shown in Table 18. Among the male population, 79 percent of the whites reported either part-time or full-time employment compared with 76 percent of the non- whites. Among the female population, however, almost 53 percent of the non- whites reported employment compared with less than 32 percent of the whites.
