MORALETICA DEL PERIODISMO


 Adenis, hacia 1923. se fund alli una Asociaci6n de Redac-
)res de Peri6dicos que hizo constar en su program que se pro-
onia "desarrollar entire ellos el espiritu de cuerpo y mantener la
ignidad y los derechos de la profesi6n". Su pronunciamiento
tico, respaldado por dos centenares de diaristas de los diferentes
;stados, empero, no tiene la importancia que el de los editors y
ropietarios de peri6dicos, ya que el periodismo de aquel pais esta
isi desprovisto de organizaci6n professional.
 De todas maneras, en resume, debe estimarse que, cualquiera
ue sea su rango dentro de la profesi6n, el periodista norteameri-
ano se esfuerza por normarla eticamente.
