HOMEMAKING EDUCATION II HOME CARE OF THE SICK OVERVIEW When members of the family are ill in the home, there are certain responsibilities in relation to home care of the sick that frequently are, or can be, carried out by family members. Some of these responsibilities can be carried effectively by pupils of high school age. The purpose of this unit is to give the pupil sufficient prep- aration to care for herself in minor illnesses, and to assist in the care of others in the home.
