Suggested Layouts Sample plans have been included in the Appendix to sug- gest varieties of ways in which space may be used for particu- lar shapes in the sizes and types of schools specified. For the secondary schools suggested layouts are a sample plan for a materials center in a rectangular space serving a school enroll- ment of 500 and another sample plan for a center occupying a modified square space and serving a school enrollment of 1,500.
