BOOKS IN THE SIMPLE LABORATORY Because I suggest only a few books does not mean that there are not a very large number which would be worth while for constant use by the students and yourself. Books are a part of a laboratory. Students should be encouraged to go to them just as they go to the faucet after water. The habit of "looking it up" is a most excellent one. 116
