SLIP COVERS. The Bureau of Home Economics of the Department of Agriculture has pre- pared two films on how to make slip covers for chairs. Each consists of 65 pictures and is available for 55e. One deals with slip covers for upholstered chairs while the other one deals with those for straight chairs. Both films not only reveal how to make the covers, but also how to choose the materials for them. They are designed for work with consumer groups by ex- tension workers of the Department of Agriculture. THE MAGIC FLAME. On the history of gas, prepared for school and consumer groups by the American Stove Company and obtainable through local gas companies or Magic Chef gas range dealers. (A sound slide film.)
