- 71 - SECTION VII AREA VOCATIONAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS 1.0 PLAN FOR SUPERVISION The State Board for Vocational Education will, upon recommendation of the state superintendent, who is by law the executive officer, designate and employ to serve under the state director such full- time and part-time staff assistants as may be necessary to super- vise the state-wide area vocational programs. 1.1 Organization of State Staff to Supervise Program. The state staff organization and its relationship to area vocational educa- tion programs is shown in Section I, 1. 2 and specific details are provided in Sections II, III, IV, and V of this Plan. 1.2 Special Duties of Supervisors. No special duties other than those described in Section I, 3.1 of this Plan are assigned to the head State and assistant State supervisors. 1.3 Qualifications of Consultant for Technical Education. Qualifi- cations of the State consultant for technical education are described in Section I, 1.55 of this Plan. 1.4 Qualifications of Assistant State Supervisors. This item does not apply. 1.5 Duties and Qualifications of Supporting Professional Staff. Duties and qualifications of the supporting professional staff are described in Section I, .1.5 of this Plan. 1.6 Duties and Qualifications of Local Directors, Supervisors, and Coordinators.
