LAK: Cl I Y. which derives its name from the numerous lakes surrounding it. is the Gateway to
 Florida trom the Middle West. And its good airport, conveniently located, is an attractive invitation
for us to visit the large pecan groves, peculiar caves. Veterans Hospital and other interesting points for
which Lake City is noted. The Osceola National Forest is but fifteen miles east and is well worth seeing
from the air.
