WELAKA FISH AND GAME HATCHERY


THIS is the largest Fish and Game Hatchery in the world.
 and is now operated by the Federal Government. Many
kinds of game fish. trout, and wild life such as quail and deer


are raised here and used to restock Florida's fresh water lakes.
rivers and timber-lands. But for these hatcheries, many species
of fish would soon become extinct.
