DR. MURPHREE COMES TO GAINESVILLE ship to Dr. Sledd. The catalogue of 1909 announced that the new president would take charge at the opening of school that year. Dr. IMurphree moved with his family to Gainesville in the summer and established his home on University avenue, between the business part of the city and the campus.
