SErATOB: I take pleasure in enclosing herewith, for your informa- tion, 15 copies of the interim report of the special board of geologists and engineers appointed by the district engineer at Ocala, Fla., to make a study of the effect of the sea-level canal on the underground resources of the State. The findings of the board at this time definitely indicate that no serious adverse effects on the underground water supply need be anticipated from the construction of a sea-level canal.
