Hall and the mother of three children, W. Harry, Mrs. Bertha Win and Mrs. Gussie Barnes. (2) Henrietta (deceased), who married A. J. Norman. (3) Gustave Adolph. (See above.) Gustave Adolph Hanson, first, was a fresco painter Francew but by reason of a supposed conspiracy in the time of the Emperor Napoleon, in which he was thought to have been involved, he was banished from that country and dame to the United States, settling in Bolivar, Tennessee, where( he spent his last days. Judge Gustave Adolph Hanson married (1) Mary Magerney, of Memphis, Tennessee. They had six children, of which only three attained maturity: (1) Etta (deceased), who married William L. Reddett, of Memphis. They had four children, only two of whom are living; namely, (a) Martha, who married Beard C. Bonfoey, one child, Kenneth. S(b) Hanson, who married Vera Williams, of Memphis, Tennessee. They have one child, Martha. (2) The second child of Gustave and Mary (Magerney) iHanson was Genevieve, who married Charles Taylor, of Memphis Tennessee. They have two children, Pauline and Allen. (3) Gertrude, who died unmarried. Gustave Adolph Hanson married (2) August 4, 1879 in ,Bartlett, Tennessee, Maria Armstrong Estes, a native of Co- lumbia, Tennessee, a daughter of L. H. and Ann (Neal) Estes Before her marriage Miss Maria A. Rates taught school ,and for two years preceding that event was a member of the faculty of the Memphis Female College. Mrs. Hanson is a leading member of the First Methodist Church of Tampa, and As the president of the Woman's Missioar Society of the Florida Conference. Mrs. Hanson is one of a family of eight children, all ;of whom are living save one. Their names are as follows: William, Harry, David, Mary, Ludwell (deceased), Annie, Ma ria Armstrong, Gertrude.
