Microtaggant particle viewed on edge. The different layers comprise
an identifying code which distinguishes one group of microtaggants
from another. The top (black) layer is ferro-magnetic. The next
five layers are colored and the bottom layer is fluorescent. The
actual thickness is approximately 1361. The relative size of the
particles is demonstrated in the insert where particles have been
sprinkled over a centimeter scale.
