He was inducted into federal service as a Private 25 November 1940. Later he was assigned to the 301ST INFANTRY REGIMENT, 94TH INFANTRY DIVISION. He was a Private 1st Class at the time of his death. His next of kin included Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sellers, parents, Jacksonville, Florida. KILLED IN ACTION; 27 February 1945 Freudenberg, Germany.
