Born: 21 February 1915 Fort Myers, Florida.

Powers was a high school graduate living in Ft. Myers working as
a nailer at the time he enlisted in Company E, 106th Medical
Regiment 10 October 1940. He was inducted Into federal service
25 November 1940. He was a Sergeant at the time of his death.

His next of kin included Estelle Powers, mother, Ft. Myers,
Florida.

DIED NON-BATTLE; 2 November 1944 of hepatitis, location and unit
assignment at time of death are not known.





PREESCHL, Donald. Richard


COMPANY A, 124TH INFANTRY
(Dade County)

Born: 25 April 1917 Waycross, Wisconsin.

Preeschl had completed two years of high school, lived in Miami
and worked as an interior decorator when he enlisted in Company
A, 124th Infantry Regiment 23 November 1940. He was inducted
into federal service 25 November 1940. Later, he was assigned to
the 134TH INFNATRY REGIMENT, 35TH INFANTRY DIVISION. He left for
overseas 6 April 1944.

KILLED IN ACTION; 10 November 1944, Fresnes-en-Saulnois, France.
