Moore was a high school graduate living in West Palm Beach when he enlisted in Company C, 124th Infantry Regiment 9 October 1939. He was inducted into federal service 25 November 1940. His next of kin included Mrs. S.E. Moore, mother, West Palm Beach, Florida. DIED NON-BATTLE; Date, location and unit assignment at time of death are unknown. MULLANEY, Harrell Lee BATTERY F, 116TH FIELD ARTILLERY (Polk County) Born 9 February 1915 Brinson, Georgia. Mullaney was a high school graduate living in Winter Haven working as a telegraph operator earning $40 per week when he first enlisted in Battery F, 116th Field Artillery. He was inducted into federal service as a Private 26 November 1940. Later he was assigned to the 376TH PARACHUTE ARTILLERY, 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION. He was a Sergeant at the time of his death. His next of kin included Mrs. James Mullaney, mother, Winter Haven, Florida. DIED OF WOUNDS; 15 February 1944, Nettuno, Italy. 376th Parachute Artillery 82nd Airborne Division -------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------- - (The 82nd was part of the assault force in the Anzio Beachhead, Italy during January 1944. The division was heavily engaged in attacks against German positions along the Mussolini Canal. Mullaney died as a result of wounds received in that fighting).
