FORRESTER, Copeland Albert BATTERY D, 116TH FIELD ARTILLERY (Hillsborough County) Born: 2 December 1921 Dothan, Alabama. Forrester had completed three and one half years of high school, worked as a student and lived in Lakeland at the time he enlisted in Battery D, 116th Field Artillery 29 December 1939. He was inducted into federal service 25 November 1940 and was a Sergeant at the time of his death. DIED NON-BATTLE; date, location and unit assignment at the time of his death are unknown. FOX, Raymond Franklin COMPANY D, 106TH ENGINEERS (Franklin County) Fox was a high school graduate living in Callaway at the time he enlisted in Company D, 106th Engineers 26 September 1940. Later he was inducted into federal service 25 November 1940. Later, he was assigned to the 860TH BOMB SQUADRON, 493RD BOMB GROUP. He was a Staff Sergeant at the time of his death.
