Out of the six teams participating in the race Suwannee finished first with a team score of 43. Suwannee was led by Lindsay Michal, who was the third overall female, with a time of 23:40 for the 3.1 mile race while Laura Menezes placed sixth overall with a time of 26:00. Fort White edged out Branford by one point for second place with 67 points. Branford's top runner was Ashley Horn, who completed the course in 23:21 and raced to a second place overall finish. Teammates Kendall Hall (27:19) and Claudia Chance (29:34) finished eighth and fifteenth respectively. Taylor Jones of Branford ran a time of 29:47 for sev- enteenth and teammate Montana Bailey ran the race in 32:52 for twenty-sixth place. Other Lady Buccaneer runners were Olivia Boney (33:26) twenty-eighth,, Amy Sullivan (37:16) thirtieth, Denise Starling (37:17) thirty-first and Morgan McMullan (43:46) in thirty-seventh. Finishing fourth was Cedar Key (95 points), followed by Williston (127 points) and Chiefland (146 points). The girls race was won by Ashley Jones from Fort White with a time of 22:34. In the boys varsity race, Branford's Kenny Hitt finished in sixth place with a time of 22:06 and followed closely by teammate Vincent Ruiz in seventh with a race time of 22:08, while Justin Jones came in sixteenth com- pleting the course in 26:25. Cedar Key won the boys title with 32 points, Williston was second with 41 and Fort White finished third with 55 points.
