The llth year of the Toys for Kids+ project begins with many requests for help pro- viding cloths and gifts for the needy children in the Branford/O'Brien area. Due to the state of the economy in the past couple of years there has been a surge in the number of re- quests for assistance we have received. Some of our major business donors have had to reduce their contri- butions, because of the de- cline in their income. Indi- vidual donations will be paramount this year in or- der for us to honor all the requests. Whether you choose to sponsor a child or make a cash donation (no donation is too small) a toy or a few dollars will help bring a smile to a child's face Christmas morning that may other wise not have a Christmas. Because of the curtailed days of operation at the Branford Health Dept. you ay want to call to make sure they are open before taking in your donation. We have also added drop off sites for your gifts and or donation. The added sites are: Bran- ford Town Hall, O'Brien Feed Depot & Hardware, Thompson Custom Homes at 3554 256th St. O'Brien. We really need your help! Won't you please open your hearts and help provide a joyous Christmas for these children. We also have requests for food for some of the families. Should you know of a child or family that needs help you may contact Ms. Karen at the Branford Health Dept. (386-935-1133) or Roger Burnside at 386- 935-3343. To all of you that helped in the past years our most sincere thank you!
