Using the same cutting-edge tccliiilh- found at NASA and the DeSoto solar power plant, FPL will provide clean, emission free power to the school and hands-on renewable energy education for stu- dents. Josh Williams, Suwannee Schools Director of Information Technology, tracks the energy generated by Florida Power & Light's Next Generation Solar Education Station at Suwannee Hamilton Technical Center. The Sun Power Monitor website provides real time data on the array and gives students a hands-on tool to learn about renewable energy. Last year, four Suwannee Hamilton Tech teachers received training from FPL to bring the stations and solar energy education into their classrooms. FPL offers renew- able energy curriculum sessions throughout the year for teachers statewide and, by the end of 2010, will have en- abled 150 educators to bring the latest solar technology into their classrooms. - Courtesy photo Message from the Supervisor of Elections for November 2, 2010 General Election As we prepare for the NOVEMBER 2, 2010 Gen- eral Election, my wish for every registered voter is that you feel an obligation to do your part to keep this country great and to realize that your vote is what makes the difference.
