PAGE 7A FD S2U E Florence Grace Curl April 26, 1920 - Aug. 24, 2006 lorence Grace Curl, 86, of Dowling Park, Fla., passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 in Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park following a lengthy illness. The Oneida, N.Y. native moved to Dowl- ing Park 20 years ago from Utica, N.Y. She worked for many years as a factory worker for Mele Manufacturing Company. Curl loved to fish and was known for catching washtubs full of fish. She also loved to knit, crochet and read. Curl was a member of Village, Church in Dowling Park. Survivors include one son, Larry Abbott. of Perry; two daughters, Dawn Bieksza of Live Oak and Dorothy Schultz of Watertown, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and sev- en great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Monday, Aug. 28 in Live Oak Cemetery with'the Rev. Jack Jones officiating. Harris Funeral Home, Inc. of Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.. Thomas Roy "Roy" DeCoff May 24, 1915 - Aug.28,2006 0ihomas Roy "Roy", SDeCoff, 91, of Dowling Park, Fla. passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2006 after a short illness. He was born in Eliot, Maine on May 24, 1915, the son of Roy and Mary (Sullivan) De- Coff of New Bedford, Mass- achusetts. DeCoff with his wife, Iva L. (Hodgdon) De- Coff, moved to Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park in 1974 from Kittery, Maine, where he volunteered as a handyman for several years. He was a member of Bixler Memorial Chapel in Dowling Park, past member of Advent Christian Church of Portsmouth, N.H. He served in the US Navy dur- ing World War II. He retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1970 after 30 years of government service and traveled the United States with his wife until settling on Dowling Park. 'For as long as they could, they traveled to New Eng- land to summer near their sons and family. Survivors include two sons, Dan S. and his wife, SMary, of Washington, Maine and Chester E. and his wife, Vickie, of South Berwick, Maine; a brother, Charles and his wife, Mary; 11 grandchil- dren; and 19 great-grandchil- dren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years; two sons, Alan R. and Charles W.; two brothers, John H. and Edmund J.; two sisters, Mar- garet M. and Mildred G.. In lieu of flowers, memori- al donations in his name may be made to New Copeland Clinic at Advent Christian :Village, Dowling Park, FL 30264. o Beggs Funeral Home of Madison is in charge of all arrangements.
